In 2015 up to 2017, PGK will adopt "Patient Centered Community Based MDR-TB Care Model" funded by 3MDG which was previously initiated by FHI 360 (CAP-TB) and it's partners MMA, MHAA & PGK with community volunteers.
Pyi Gyi Khin is expected to work on all activities of MDR-TB under the technical supervision and in close collaboration with FHI 360, National TB program and other CAP-TB and USAID partners in Myanmar as requested.
There is lack of adequate legislation to address violence against women. In addition, existence of strong patriarchal traditional, poor knowledge and lack of confidence of women have hindered them from seeking right to protect from violence.
