Objective: 

To Improve the awareness of CEDAW which mainly focus on Human Right, legal rights and violence against women among women especially vulnerable women that to be able to understand their rights, responsibility and their protection inthe community.

To improve the awareness events on CEDAW and violence against women for men to protect and respect women rights and women from violence.

Project briefs: 

There is lack of adequate legislation to address violence against women. In addition, existence of strong patriarchal traditional, poor knowledge and lack of confidence of women have hindered them from seeking right to protect from violence. This project indented to create community based referral mechanism and build the capacity of community especially existing community support groups to protect women and girls from violence.

Establish Women Friendly Centers in community to provide spaces for discussion of women issues and violence against women which to build the bridge between grass root community and key stakeholders who can provide legal support for women facing violence.
